was hoping to watch banger racing today but sadly it cannot be.
parental responsibilities take precedance.
so weeblaireau and i shall go to the park later and then visit my parents.
in the mean time i am catching up on the mountain of laundry that has taken over the house...and preparing the duck for dinner. poor wee fellow hasn't much of an apetite. perhaps once i have made him into a fricassee he will have perked up a bit...

Shame about the banger racing. Have fun in the park, mounting your laundry and perking up the duck.

All sounds rather active chaps, I imagine mine shall be the pursuit of food in a few hours an little else. Had my stag do last night and feel remarkably fresh considering ale and time we stumbled home.

I was very drunk last night. I hope I didn't come across as a total wanker.

Of course you didn't - it was really fun.
Clendrix answer? I very much enjoyed learning things about you to use for future evil.
B3ta answer? MTFU - you only had three pints of shandy, you sad bastard.

I'm fine, though seem to have spent most of the weekend drinking, listening to metal (rock club Friday and gig last night) and getting home late.
Today I'm off to visit my friend in Brixton and lounge around.

I think I'll just give my car it's bi-annual clean, go for a run and then read in bed till I fall asleep.

Morning everyone. I started my new job this week and I must say that it's aces. Strange combination of very hard work in a laid-back atmosphere - everyone wears jeans and we listen to music at work, but the place is empty at 8:50 and again at 17:40 so there's no macho "let's put in lots of hours" culture, and the work rate means the day passes quickly. And the people there are friendly and fun; AND for the first time ever I can walk to work...
So, no b3ta-use for me during the working day which means I'll be on here a lot less.
Anyway, all the best to all of you - I will dip in and out when time allows.

which isn't quite as boring as it sounds. Most of this job is customer relationship management though - not just making sure the stuff the customer wants (which is IT related) gets done, but making sure the customer is a happy bunny as well.
My new employers have given me their 3 biggest customers to manage. So, no pressure there then !

I still have a wobbly belly but have legs like Linford Christie. Damn my middle-aged spread.
Off to get the car cleaned.
Have a nice day.
