Holiday ideas
Hi folks, as the brightest people i know (depressing isnt it?) can sum1 recommend a holiday destination for christmas.

1. warm
2. cheap
3. not too far

i'm thinking spain or turkey but its been years since i've had a european break and dont know where's good these days.

suggestions on a postcard please?

Come to California,
it's just as cheap as going to Europe! Plus, with the exchange rate the way it is, 100 quid equates to close to $200.

I agree the plane fare's not bad
but the exchange rate's nothing like as good as it was. You'll be lucky to see $160 from your £100.

If you want cheap
don't bother with anywhere inside the eurozone - the exchange rate is shite and it's cripplingly expensive. Turkey is ace but can be very touristy so make sure you book appropriately (eg somewhere quieter if touristy is as much of a turnoff for you as it is for me). Also, bits of it (eg Istanbul) can be pretty nippy in winter. Try somewhere in the Bodrum/Antalya area?

Further south. Canaries (outside the EU, genuine Duty Free) or Goa, what you'll spend in flights, you'll save on cost-of-living.

The double advantage of Goa.... You'll get no cunts whatsoever ramming father-fucking-cunting-Christmas down your throat.

Go to Berlin, everything is cheaper than the rest of Europe. Don't try Norway, its' cold, wet, and ridiculously expensive

2. Cheap? You can't go out, make sure you are well stocked on essentials.
