CUNTS A-HOY
You may or may not know, but i work in a company that is run by CUNTS. One of the designers went to get a tea, from the machine, that you have to pay for incidentally, and was told by a 'manager' who was already sitting in there, that she wasn't allowed to have one until after 10am

CUNTS

5 minutes later one of her saggy fannied cronies drags herself into the very same canteen and emerges with, you guessed it, a cup of hot beverage.

I suggested the girl go back and get herself some water, as i assume, it would be illegal for them to deny her drinking water, although nothing in this FUCKING PLACE would surprise me. The pathetic and petty rules they enforce are nothing short of cancer in a basket, but could be easily turned against them if the pathetic twats who work here had the balls to do so.

When i am here, i am in a constant state of barely supressed rage and most days i could quite happily choke a puppy or chop up a prostitute, sometimes both.

So, in the spirit of hatred, please share your work based vitriol.

Not allowed a cup of tea before 10am?
How staggeringly twattish. Do you work in a Victorian workhouse or something?

I'm currently on my way down to Hendon
For a meeting. There's an undercurrent of them wanting me to work there but given my complete refusal the last time it was brought up, no one is coming out and saying so. I'm expecting various tactics to try and manipulate me into it. Bastards.

that is pretty shocking
my workplace is embarrassingly flexible and amenable. Only thing we aren't allowed to do is listen to music. Admittedly that does really piss me off, but it's not the end of the world.

Oh, that sounds like a decent rule........
They CAN have music in here, as long it is 'Poker Face' or 'Paparazzi'. Aaaaaaaaaand that seems to be it, OVER AND FUCKING OVER, EVERY FUCKING DAY.

Although the latter is vaguely amusing in that i can pretend she is saying 'proper nazi'....but believe me, it is akin to being allowed to sprinkle sugar on shit before being forced to eat it.

In poker face
it sounds like she says "po po po poker face, fu fu fuck her face". That always amuses me when I have to listen to it repeatedly in my dance classes.

Me too
Wanna be all smug about it?

Hey, look, it's this dude.
Alright, this dude?
(, Thu 1 Oct 2009, 10:06, Reply)
This dude is A-Ok
because I am at work with my incredibly accommodating boss who is fine with me looking at sites like this one in the workplace. :smug:

Ridiculous rules like that
are made to be broken.

Organise a workplace revolt.

Protest Tea Party!

With cakes and biscuits and everything!
(, Thu 1 Oct 2009, 9:44, Reply)
I suggest
croissants. And sitting back, cross-legged, eating them smugly.
(, Thu 1 Oct 2009, 9:46, Reply)
That sounds like an ace idea
however, i work in a dungeon, with no windows let alone a decadent vista. Does sound tempting though!

Cups of bleach
to be thrown on the carpet more like it...the other day i used a can of air freshener to spray a discreet 'cock'n'balls' on the toilet wall.

Petty vandalism is almost all that gets me through the day....that and not doing any work of course.

Work eactly to the "rules"

At 10 on the dot all of you go and get tea, never work 1 minute before 9 or after 5:30, take exactly 1 hour for lunch, complain to higher eschelons about every rule that they break, insist on a full written brief for even the simpliest of tasks to ensure clarity etc ...
(, Thu 1 Oct 2009, 9:48, Reply)
this is the way to do it
passive aggression ftw!
(, Thu 1 Oct 2009, 9:52, Reply)
I can do whatever I want,
It's great.
I can wear what I want, eat and drink when I want, or even sleep 'til midday.
Then again, I am unemployed.
(, Thu 1 Oct 2009, 9:54, Reply)
I insist that you do a health and safety evaluation

on sleeping until mid day
(, Thu 1 Oct 2009, 9:56, Reply)
For who?
Myself? Sod that!
(, Thu 1 Oct 2009, 9:56, Reply)
And
a risk assessment. You know, falling out of bed and all.

I work in a uni with two campuses
One is in a sub-tropical gardens with a laid back atmosphere, lovely people and very few management types.

The other is a new fast paced "we expect results!" place where all the bosses (including mine) work.

I work in the first and love it. Today The Enemys tour manager decided to return to his old job as IT Techie and they need to make space for him so they have told me that as of Monday I am moving to the "other side"

I'm not looking forward to it
