I was wary about the film
but it was better than I expected. The same goes for the new Star Trek film. When I heard that was coming out I thought they were milking the franchise a bit, but by christ it was a cracking film.

But this new book? Hmmm, I'll reserve judgement.

I really enjoyed that, it was a good, solidly entertaining lump-O-sci-fi.
