I was going to inform my fellow friendly B3tans on here about my fantastic weekend with other B3tans.
Unfortunately it is classed as personal so only myself and the other B3tans in question will be aware of the great time we had.

Sorry!

Sorry but them's the rules.
No more personal shit on B3ta.
(, Sun 11 Oct 2009, 20:07, Reply)
Oh ffs
Put as much personal stuff on here as you like, just bear in mind that not everyone wants to read it. I'd like to hear about your fantastic weekend because it's not often that you post that you're feeling happy and have had a good time.
(, Sun 11 Oct 2009, 20:20, Reply)
I'm not sure about this because it involves feelings and I don't want to be accused of autism.
I shall post it in list format thus rendering any possibility of emotion negligible.

1. Arrived at B3tans house Friday afternoon and had home-made fish pie and much red wine whereupon I talked far too much which is not like me. I suspect it was because of being incredibly comfortable in said B3tans company.

2. Woke up Saturday lunchtime with mild hangover and eventually we tootled off for a long walk in lovely countryside. Being as I am now as fit as a butcher's dog, this was not problematic in any way for my fitness levels. Dinner was cooked and served by female B3tans mother and was delicious. Again much wine was imbibed but not as much as the night before.

3. This day was spent on the local beach walking in the bright sunshine and laughing at the B3tans dog who is a spakka of high regard, followed by the uneventful journey home.

One cannot underestimate the healing qualities of good company, good food and a train running on time.

I'm glad to hear you had a good weekend with said b3tans, I know they'd been looking forward to your company for a while

there's a world of difference between personal shit
and serious problems.
(, Sun 11 Oct 2009, 20:33, Reply)
Like your pizza guy seeing you naked
I regret sharing that intensely personal moment.
(, Sun 11 Oct 2009, 20:44, Reply)
What is a serious problem?
Rape is a serious problem but it's still joked about on here.

You don't hear me complaining.

It takes all sorts of people to make a winning website.
I'm just waiting for everyone to realise this.

hey there GBH, good to hear you had a nice time!
it's also good to hear that you can take a telling and will no longer be sharing personal informations with us!
i, on the other hand am completely incapable of keeping my shit to myself and so will continue to pollute the interwebs with emotions and feelings and suchlike, labouring under the delusion that this behaviour has any validity.
so there!
(, Sun 11 Oct 2009, 21:23, Reply)
Onya!
that made me laugh a lot. In a good way, as I now feel I must point out.

I have been a member for 4 years, 11 months and 16 days
And have never received any rancour, animosity, disapprobrium or otherwise for my admittedly sporadic contributions.

If you want an Aunt Sally, chuck the fucking lot at me right now while I nip round to Tesco before it closes.
(, Sun 11 Oct 2009, 21:35, Reply)
We're all scared of you because you use words like disapprobrium.

i ain't SCARED of him, he's from the south of the county.
i reckon i could ruffle his hair or give him a chinese burn if push came to shove...

Apropros of
the statistical data contained within that post, I've been a member for 4 years 11 months and 7 days. What twist of fate led us both to pledge our souls to this godforsaken place within 9 days?
(, Sun 11 Oct 2009, 21:47, Reply)
Well that was pretty weak...
I was expecting a whole bitch slappin' explosion.

Am I really so insignificant that I don't even merit a VC/Poppet stylee sledging?

I'm DOWN, B3TA bullies. Kick me, I'm DOWN.

(Please bear in mind that this is being done in irony and I'm NOT going to Hampstead Heath.)

(, Sun 11 Oct 2009, 22:28, Reply)
I have very little hair to ruffle.
It's all there, y'understand, just extremely short.

Another distinguishing feature for Friday - has short hair.
(, Sun 11 Oct 2009, 22:53, Reply)
i am HAPPY to be a source of laughter for you.
from now on i intend to CAPITALISE any emotions i mention.
just for added effect.

so, d'ya fancy skiving off work on friday and joining TD, Gronzo and myself for pizza and beers? you know it makes sense...
and it would make me HAPPY.
(, Sun 11 Oct 2009, 21:36, Reply)
I would
LOVE to, but I can't. Can't afford the time off, unfortunately, as I wouldn't get paid for it. Sundays are the only days I'm guaranteed to not be working so have the next bash on a sunday (and don't forget, Warton is on sundays) and I might just make it :)
(, Sun 11 Oct 2009, 21:42, Reply)
i've not forgot about the bangers! been reet busy getting the house finished.
moving in 3 weeks!
and yeah, we'll arrange a sunday bash before christmas. how does that sound?
(, Sun 11 Oct 2009, 21:47, Reply)
I had a sneaking suspicion
and I just checked, and I was right - yesterday was the last meeting of the season at Warton. Apart from the traditional Boxing Day meet, that's it now until Metal Mania in March.

So it'll have to be a sunday somewhere else... although things are going a bit mental here and I don't know when or if I'll be able to do it at all... more news on that soon!
