I mean you *could* go the mature road you know. But don't worry about it. I'm used to you now.

He only asked you once, though.
Surely that's an improvement?

actually he asked three times.

where did the 3 times thing come from?
I seem to remember knowing before, but my memory has more holes than one of those things...you know...you put vegetables and stuff in it...

my doctor asked me three times whether or not I went out of town up to melbourne,
after I explained quite clearly that I hadn't been anywhere but school and work for the last few months. People thought I was whinging when I was laughing. It was right at the beginning of the Swine Flu outbreak in Melbourne.

have you ever worn your funny hat?

I can, on occasion, dig out the funny hat.
Just usually people mistake my funny hat for my serious one. :(

You didn't, that is true.
But it's easier to skip when it's separate. So easy that I actually skipped it without realising.
Must try harder (you, not me).

yeah maybe I have, in that I'm trying to be lighthearted about it?
And I'm trying to just take it at face value, rather then getting offended by it. I mean seriously, you have to admit, you can be pretty harsh sometimes when it's not called for.

I know I have nothing to worry about
as I said, I'm pretty great, it's you i'm concerned about, all this latent hostility and anger, I'm concerned you might flip out when you get to the UK and hurt someone.

I was about 8 when the first Iraq war happened.

yeah but we actually learn about those things here.
I've never been taught about Kosovo and I've never heard it talked about before is all. I'm sure you didn't know anything about the world wars before you learned about them. get real.
