Anyone see James May's new series tonight?
Where he got a bunch of schoolkids to make a life-sized Airfix model of a Spitfire?

I'm not ashamed to admit that I was grinning like a mong by the end of it. Can't wait for the lego house.

cried after he flew the spitfire. Great programme. Make him Toy Zsar or summat.

So sad those kids - nice ones and that - are so jaded these days, not wanting to get muddy, or involved. It takes actual tanks to do it.

Great Programme
I still do the odd Airfix tank, as it is great for helping with my arthritic fingers.

I thought his dad was great too. Did he really say "That's my boy." though? I could hardly believe the kids. "I don't want to drive a tank." What planet are these kids on?

I want to see the Lego programme too. I hope there is one for Mecanno.
