TK max is evil.
I went there at lunchtime just to take my fake fur yeti jacket back, (I mean for God's sake I'm 44 and it looked ridiculous), and came out with a cheeta print fake fur coat, a fleece throw and a hand held massager.

I need to get a boyfriend soon because I think I'm filling the void in my life with shopping.

What ridiculous things that you didn't need have you bought lately?

Edit - besides my mum.

it's against the health and saftey instructions.

Then take a picture of someone else using it.
It's not rocket science......Hahahaha!

Your supposed purchase sounds very suspect to me then.

I don't mind doing it, but I wanna know if you'll put out on webcam on first.

* I've been using that word a bit, but I can't work out what it means, in regards to "Forgive us those who tresspass against us, as we forgive those we tresspass against".

I tend to buy shoes
that I don't really need quite a lot... and then I'll find some way to justify the purchase.
(, Wed 18 Nov 2009, 13:07, Reply)
I would totally do the shoe thing if I didn't have size 9 feet : (

(, Wed 18 Nov 2009, 13:09, Reply)
Bugger
Where do you get your shoes from? I know a few girlies with size 8 feet that manage okay.
(, Wed 18 Nov 2009, 13:17, Reply)
Next.
There are a couple of other places but that's the main one.

Most shops go up to 8 but not beyond.
(, Wed 18 Nov 2009, 13:20, Reply)
Next have a good selection of shoes
as do M&S. Some of my best shoes have come from M&S :)

Hehe
Bless her. Do you find it difficult to buy her Xmas pressies or is she quite easy to shop for?
(, Wed 18 Nov 2009, 13:12, Reply)
pretty easy generally
she used to be quite restrained when it came to clothes and stuff, but I've convinced her that bright and/or unusual things are good.

she didn't like to stand out I think, which is silly
(, Wed 18 Nov 2009, 13:17, Reply)
Good work!
If you're not particularly confident with the way you look its difficult to go for clothes that will get you noticed. Once you've got the confidence there, its crazy all the way! :)

Over the past few years my wardrobe has taken on dramatic changes as my confidence has grown, I used to live in jeans and silly tees, now I'm barely out of crazy high shoes and skirts, especially at work.

High shoes aren't for everyone. You really do have to train your feet to deal with it. Hehe

(, Wed 18 Nov 2009, 13:10, Reply)
Not really very witty when everyone knows I would readily admit to buying a vibrator and not a massager.

(, Wed 18 Nov 2009, 13:13, Reply)
But you just did readily admit buying a massager.
Plus I wasn't trying to be witty, just smutty.
(, Wed 18 Nov 2009, 13:19, Reply)
What I mean is.....
I would admit to buying a vibrator so why would I call it a massager?
(, Wed 18 Nov 2009, 13:23, Reply)
You serious? Thats what you meant?
Bugger me, I got completely the wrong end of the stick. Sorry.

I missed an appointment with my accountant today and I woke up to everyone shouting at me in voice mail.
I was up for nearly 40 hours by the end.

Oh diddums and drat ! This just isn't groovy at all.

Uncle Joe.
I bought him the World at War box set and the selfish fuck went and died two days after I gave it to him.

Not sure how to bring up the subject of if he opened it as I still have the receipt.

Records. Every time.
When I get on the hunt for something it's like a temporary mania comes over me. My next acquisition will be 'Sea Shanties' by High Tide, who featured ex members of The Misunderstood and a future member of Hawkwind. It WILL be mine....

Snippet of the review on Julian Cope's site:
"an abundance of ever-screeching guitar work from Hill, and his vocabulary of distortion and interplay only surpassed by its volume. It SCREAMS of the hardest rock"
(, Wed 18 Nov 2009, 13:20, Reply)
Future member of Hawkwind?
Aren't they all dead by now.
(, Wed 18 Nov 2009, 13:29, Reply)
Still gigging and recently in the news:

Bless 'em. Now doing camping holidays.

EDIT the High Tide LP's from 1969, before Simon House joined Hawkwind

I have a tendency to buy kitchen gadgets I never use.
Last one was a deep fryer, which I've used once. Oh, and the awesome countertop wine bottle opener, but I still use the corkscrew in the draw.
