Check the WHO website (World Health Organisation) and they'll also tell you if you need any meds or injections before visiting.

Pakistan is no real problem
so long as you avoid the north-western tribal areas and keep your wits about you. Mostly the people are nice and the hospitality is very welcoming. Where were you thinking of going?
