Those of you who have made the switch from Firefox to Chrome
What do you think of your decision and do you ever hanker for the halcyon days gone by?

Evenin luv
I tried Chrome on my work pc and wasn't too enamoured. Maybe I didn't give it enough of a try.
I still prefer the Fox.

I'm all about the fox, but they're pondering letting me switch from IE to chrome or FF at work. That way I'd be able to come back here during the day when I'm on reception shifts

I'm getting a new machine very soon.
I haven't tried Chrome yet so any advice is welcome.

Dont use enough browser features (extensions etc) to care, prefer chrome due to the minimal UI, and the ability to drag tabs between/out of windows (very useful when looking at 5 different things for a problem sheet)
(, Mon 4 Jan 2010, 19:06, Reply)
you can also
do the tab drag out in FF too

Firefox for development, Chrome for browsing, IE for making sure it works in IE, Saffari for iPhone stuff.
My firefox is so bloated, but it works well for things like source code stuff and all that bollocks.

BUT DO YOUR OWN MARKET RESEARCH NEXT TIME.

As if I'd ever get an iphone

until chrome has mouse gestures (it may have by now I suppose)
I ain't even considering it
(, Mon 4 Jan 2010, 21:13, Reply)
What are mouse gestures?
Is that when your mouse does the wanker sign or flicks you the V?
(, Mon 4 Jan 2010, 21:21, Reply)
yeah
and when you hold down the right mouse button and drag the mouse to do stuff

holding down the button and moving left takes me back a page, right takes me forward. down is duplicate tab, up is new tab. left right left is close tab. right left right is open tab you just closed by mistake because you are a fool.

watched that spirit of dark and lonely water thing. awesome.
