I bought a magnificent triple DVD
of footage through the years from Beat Club in Germany. There are some incredible performances, including a really great one by The Byrds who I'm not generally a fan of.

I have to say i didn't recognise a lot of it and this was 10 years ago

but why doesn't the BBC have a flagship live music program? You can say MTV etc, but I mean decent, interesting dare I say progressive music?

Anyone who says Jules Holland will have a hootananny forced up their japs eye.

I like breasts and Marc Almond.

To my mind
there wouldn't be enough interesting or progressive music to fill a fucking ad-break alone a whole show. But the cunts could at least try.

They could have The Jim Jones Revue on every week - I'd watch that.
(, Tue 23 Feb 2010, 17:06, Reply)
Why not just record it and watch it 24/7?

(, Tue 23 Feb 2010, 17:09, Reply)
How do you know I don't actually do that already?
Jim Jones is fucking brilliant. He was in Thee Hypnotics whom I loved more than was healthy back in the 80s.

BUT YOU KNEW THAT ANYWAY, RIGHT, TUGSTER?
(, Tue 23 Feb 2010, 17:14, Reply)
Sold.
Where should I start with Jim Jones?

EDIT I NEVER KNEW IT WAS HIM FROM THEE HYPNO"S.

Get thee hither:

You can all thank me later.

HE IS MY HERO. I SPOTTED HIM WHEN I WENT TO SEE THE SONICS AND NEARLY GOT A GAY-ON.
(, Tue 23 Feb 2010, 17:26, Reply)
I'll stick with The Kooks

thank you very much!

Kerrang had half an hour playing nothing but Iron Maiden last night
it was great.

The half hour playing Korn would've been good if they'd played their old stuff, when they were new and exciting.

I like the video to "Freak on a leash"
which was quite similar to an anti-gun advert a couple of years ago. Because of this the advert lost all of its shocking impact.
(, Tue 23 Feb 2010, 17:14, Reply)
I heard that song too much
and Got the life.

I like Korn though. refreshingly different for their first few albums.
(, Tue 23 Feb 2010, 17:18, Reply)
Because people dont want progressive live music shows anymore
they want celebrities singing kareoke whilst dancing on ice who are then judged by a panel of cunts in front of a live studio audience...then they have a public phone vote and a long drawn out voting off section.

Keep up
