Eh?
Are you saying you don't like 'Planet Rock' by Afrika Bambaataa & The Soul Sonic Force? Or 'Scorpio' by The Furious Five? Or 'Give The DJ a Break' by Dynamix II?

ARE YOU FUCKING DEAF OR SOMETHING?

I love you Monty
I hope to confuse young people with bands no-one's heard of when I'm as old as you.

I'll be going on about how much I hate Robbie Williams while modern consensus is that he's a musical genius.

that's pretty unlikely

I don't see much difference between the two to be honest
in terms of either talent or musical integrity

It's my life's sole purpose.
All those listed are stone cold vocoder classics, I heartily endorse them all.

However I failed to mention the funkiest vocoder track of all time - 'More Bounce to the Ounce' by Zapp. Vocoder can be superb - Peter Frampton's 'Show Me the Way' is evidence that it can also be utterly, utterly bent.

the next line should have been
'Chance'd be a fine thing'

But that's suitably scary yet intriguing as it is.
