For dinner this evening I had
A pre-appetiser of White Mushroom Veloute
Appetiser of slow braised English lamb, onion and black peppercorn icecream, garden pea salad and mint dressing
Main course of Roast chicken jambonette, smoked chicken and black pudding boudin, potato fondant.
A pre-dessert of raspberry couli topped with hot rice pudding topped with chocolate sauce.
Dessert of dark chocolate and chili pave, sweet chili syrup and malted milk chocolate ice cream.

I'd forgotten what eating at nice restaurants was like.

What'd you have?

I was at a friends house where they did a lovely shabbat meal
We had a potato and celery soup to start then a roast goose breast with cabbage and Kugel, all with a lovely fluffy homemade Challah.

I might not believe in their (or indeed any) god but it they know how to put on a fine spread.

I even came away with leftovers so I don't need to go shopping tomorrow anymore! :D
