Still a bit weird though, as I found out in a general conversation with the landlord of one of my locals. Whatever happened between us, I didn't harbour any ill feeeling towards her in the end. Brain tumour - fucking nasty way to go.

of chemo and radiotherapy, and two brain tumours. Not pleasant, although she got 18 months more to live than her original diagnosis, and it was only in the last few months that she got too ill to enjoy the time she had left, I'm told.

my grandad was the same with leukemia - outlived his original diagnosis by over a year.

bah, you must have mixed feelings on the whole thing Grandad but having someone you know pass away in those circumstances must be difficult, have a brief embarrassing man hug
