LonDONE 2010
I'm sitting writing this with my feet in a basin full of cold water and ice.

Finished my first ever marathon today in 4h12m46s.

I feel euphoric, even though it's still late at night.

Whoa congrats!
You do know this place pretty much shuts down at the weekend though, hence lack of replies..

I've always wanted to do a marathon, I'm just far far too lazy.

Congrats
After 40 years of somnolent idleness, I joined a gym but after 6 months I could maybe do 3 miles not 26...

Nice one. I'd be buggered just driving that far.

Fair play to you.
I could probably walk that far, but I don't think I'm built for running. I respect anyone who manages to run the whole thing, and averaging almost 6.2mph is no mean feat.

Way to go!
My only race has been the sport relief mile, a drop in the ocean compared to a marathon!

Woo!
You were only 2 hours behind the winner, so you must have at least been in the top five right?
