Lunch time!
I'm off to the pub for a liquid farewell and a sarny.
Then I'll probably go home.
And you?

Am in no way jealous
Well earned. I'm off for a walk around the industrial estate to make a phone call about another job. And for the sights, y'know

I'm full of hope
I keep getting calls and mails that there are jobs here and there, but as I'm being picky about the location and salary, and there are thousands of people a lot more desperate than me, I'm not doing as well as I'd like.
Why are you changing yours?

Is it worth staying for the sights?

Then meet the guy who's going to fix the curtains at my flat.
Then meet the estate agents to see for how much the bf can sell his house
Then meet the bf parents for a curry at East Zeast (mmmm)
Then beer.

If anyone out there knows of any idyllic spots where the funky-fungi can be picked without being threatened by irate farmers or pickaxe-wielding bikers - please gaz me.

there's an island for sale in Nova Scotia that's only £51,000, so the boyfriend suggested that if we sell my flat we can go and live there and grow our own food and as he put it "be all happy and stuff".
I haven't asked him how he intends to grow his own internets.

I watched mongs punting near Christchurch in Oxford last Sunday.
We sat on the bank watching this group constantly turning into the bank, making no progress whatsoever. We left and walked to get a baguette, returned three quarters of an hour later and these muppets were still there trying to get along the same stretch of river. How we laughed.
