I'm going to a 1940/50's thing tonight, at a local pub
It's VE day themed, it should be fun.

Sounds good
Can I come?

Sure can you get to MK by 9?

(, Fri 7 May 2010, 13:48, Reply)
...no. You must be very relieved right now.
Also, even though I live in Norwich, I do have some standards. I'm not going to Milton Keynes for anything less than a Bon Jovi gig

If you're going to milton keynes it's one of the best things to do.
It's where the beautiful people go about once a month and get hammered.
(, Fri 7 May 2010, 13:51, Reply)
So all of Milton Keynes' beautiful people can fit inside a single pub?
Quite some boast. Maybe people give it more of a hard time than it deserves!
(, Fri 7 May 2010, 13:53, Reply)
Honestly, it's great.
Hot, slightly 'alternanative' girls in 50's clothes and make up. Everyone is friendly £1 shots £2.50 cocktails.
(, Fri 7 May 2010, 13:58, Reply)
do you work for the Milton Keynes tourist board?

(, Fri 7 May 2010, 14:01, Reply)
You'd bloody love it too.

(, Fri 7 May 2010, 14:02, Reply)
Meh
I don't like leaving the house.

What are slightly alternative girls?

(, Fri 7 May 2010, 14:01, Reply)
Women with tatoos but not on their knuckles.

Ah I see.

You are selling pretty fucking well
I'm looking up train timetables as we speak. Be afraid, Chompy
(, Fri 7 May 2010, 14:03, Reply)
I enjoy it a lot, but I wouldn't travel to Norwich for it.
if you know what I mean.
(, Fri 7 May 2010, 14:08, Reply)
Don't panic
There's no way I can be bothered to undertake something so arduous this evening. Plus I might have a hard time selling it to Ms Foxtrot.

Why not - you fell for her 'away with the girls for a hen night' line.

was renamed STD a while ago. But that caused an obvious confusion with telephone codes, so I believe such things are now referred to as sexually transmitted infections.

But an STI sounds like a souped up Vauxhall Astra to me.
(, Fri 7 May 2010, 13:52, Reply)
STD was renamed STI because it's more accurate,
HIV is an infection but not a disease, as are a few other STI's.
It has nothing to do with dialing codes.
(, Fri 7 May 2010, 13:54, Reply)
I still call it clap or pox
None of your PC names for a dose, where I come from.
