they were the most I'd ever spent on a pair of shoes, but it was totally worth it.

My doc martens are the most I've ever spent on a pair of shoes. Also totally worth it. They're like my babies.

My IC ones are these: www.osoyou.com/thumb.ashx/media/images/items/2007/09/08/20079813262830.jpg/215x0-7-75-1-a0.jpg

Mine are the really chunky dark green ones with wide black ribbons for laces. These ones: www1.schuh.co.uk/black-dr-martens-triumph-1914-boot/1407187020/
Ah yeah, I remember. Just looking at those makes me happy.

Is there still a Doc Martens shop round the back of Urbis?

I haven't seen one. Ask one of the emo kids who hang out on the grass outside haha

To get good quality, especially boots. Never get fake leather!

in fact, all fur is horrible, unless you can pull it off like Glenn Close.

with raccoon fur trim on the hood. It's fucking lovely. I once got on the tube wearing, only to find that an animal rights march had entirely filled the carriage. Oops.

I don't like you very much right now Mr Monty.
Unless you have the matching eye mask so you actually look like a raccoon.

i do love irregular choice shoes. my sister has got herself a pair to wear when she's my bridesmaid this summer - her sole (ha) condition for being bridesmaid was the shoes.
(, Mon 10 May 2010, 13:57, Reply)
so I can buy these ones:

I might just buy them in your honour, get all dressed up and get really drunk at home.

with a blue dress. she's going to bridesmaid for other sister next year and already has her eye on another pair of IC shoes!

Somehow, adverts for Irregular Choice are chasing me around the internet, whichever site I go on they're there, taunting me.

I've got a pair which have see through heels and swans painted on the sides. I can't walk in them for long, but I can stare adoringly at them for hours.
(, Mon 10 May 2010, 14:15, Reply)
I have my ICs on the top shelf of my shoe rack so that people can see them when they walk past and adore them.

and the cupcake ones. I'm such a shoe whore.
(, Mon 10 May 2010, 14:21, Reply)
I'm only just getting into heels, so I don't have very many.
I do however have an extensive collection of boots and converse.
(, Mon 10 May 2010, 14:23, Reply)
I bought myself a new pair of BRIGHT BLUE converse just last week.
(, Mon 10 May 2010, 14:26, Reply)
I had a pair of black low tops but I think I lost them at a festival, so now I have none, sob. I picked up some totally sweet DCs in the Office closing down sale for £20 though
(, Mon 10 May 2010, 14:28, Reply)
I've 2 pairs of fold over ones, one turquoise and one black suede with black and white tweed on the inside.
Losing them is bad times, everyone should have at least one pair.
(, Mon 10 May 2010, 14:36, Reply)
I don't like really like high tops though, they make me look clown-feety
(, Mon 10 May 2010, 14:44, Reply)
That is the risk you run with converse. Luckily, I only have little size 5s, so I can just about get away with it.
