*Gets up, goes to bathroom, returns.*
Me: Can you give me a hand with this?
She: A hand with what?
Me: *Flings open dressing gown.* This HUGE erection!
She: *Laughs uncontrollably.*
Me: I'll go and make breakfast then.
Inappropriate laughter anyone?

I'm too tired now to think of anything funny, I'll try later. I had an awful night with a bit of tonsilitis and a bf who could snore for England.
Give me a couple of hours and I'll be in good mood again (no boss in the office today, yey!)

Humour is a huge turn-on, so she may have been about to follow the giggling by jumping your bones.
You'll never know now, you daft sod.

Giggling is good, guffawing is bad.
Anyway, morning all, hope you had a succesful weekend, whatever it was.

To be honest I laughed too. It's infectious.
The laughter, not the spots and dribbly pus.

and there was a covers band there who I've seen loads of times due to blatant nepotism. They attempted a cover of the Stone Roses "Waterfall" which somehow managed to suck all the joy and emotion out of the song. I laughed when they started playing it, then realised they meant to see it through to the end. Which was less amusing.

Although I have to say I would love to spend my time in libraries reading up on classical stuff. I've just started 'The Inheritance of Rome' which covers Europe AD400-1000. So far, so slightly dull.
I had a quiet weekend but yesterday my ex let me take my little girl out on my own for 4 hours. This sounds like fuck all but is actually a major milestone.

to further cheer you, I might be coming to London the weekend of the 12th/13th of June

I shall now build a shrine to you in my flat and make a scary collage on the wall of covertly-taken photos of you.

The best you can say about them is that occasionally they sound a bit like a mid-60s English pop band.
Praise indeed.
Tinny 80s production, weak songs and total cunts to boot. Anyone who's ever seen the 'fookin' amateurs' TV performance has to agree. They soundchecked for a TV slot and when it came to the actual performance turned everything up - consequently the electrics blew leaving them in the dark with only a mic on: and then had the cheek to blame the TV crew for being 'fookin' amateurs'. Sigh - witless northern cretins.

sounds like they are the fucking amateurs
they had one song which had a good slide guitar intro, but I have no idea what it's called, and it went shit as soon as the guy starts singing

If you felt like belming for Britian at any point it's a great clip to get you started.

but more than likely I won't. It will have slipped my mind in a couple of seconds.
(, Mon 17 May 2010, 9:04, Reply)
Which is an awesome song. But it's absolutely true that they'd be a better band without any vocals

cheers

It's not. Try it.

and if they said the Stone Roses were bad I'd be more inclined to think they were good.
