I cried when Diana died, true story.
I was quite angry and I even wrote a letter at the time to a newspaper calling them murdering scumbags and my mum didn't let me send it.

True story, I still don't like it when people say bad things about her, well, depending on context. But when it's a "Look at mee, I'm so liberal, down with the system, she was a whore" type thing. She's the best 'media whore' this country has ever had, which got over-played by The Daily Express. She did so much charity work, as much as any other royal/semi-royal I can think off, she genuinly used her power to help the poor, and I think she felt the guilt of the UK's emplorial days.

I can't think up a single other 'media whore' who I would prefer to hear about, should she still be alive today.

Was she a media-whore?
Because to me, that says she was doing stuff for attention rather than just being exploited to death

What really?

i thought it was sad because two young biys had lost their mother, the publics reaction was massively over the top and completely nonsensical.

Oh' aye, that was one of the other elements that I thought was very sad...
... it doesn't matter if your mum works behind the till at Sainsburys or she's, well, princesses diana, it's just as devistating.
