budget - no idea - 1500quid? although i have been told 500 would be fine?
i will be using it almost exclusively for word and possibly the internet (if i can ever remember my wireless password)

They are good, generally quite reliable
but I think a bit over priced.

Basically you're paying £80ish for it to be red, silver and black are cheaper.
