Some of the lads from my old neighbourhood ended up in a party at my parents' house last year. My dad said one of them (a few years younger than me) got proper annoying and maudlin, asking "Where's your roota? Why's she not here? How's she doing. I really cared about her. Then after my dad had gone to bed my ucle's mate heard them discussing me. Apparently they all liked me but I thought I was a cut above. Oh yeah I thought that when I was getting battered by the kids round there.

Fucking weirdos, I'm sure they made it up because all I can remember is them being annoying when we were little kids, and then calling me a fucking dyke from over the road when we were a bit older.
I sincerely think these people didn't think it at the time, think it in hindsight and then make out it was a bigger deal than it was so you feel guilty. Nobody fancied me. I was a dork. Suddenly they're claiming they did. Piss off.
