About 20 minutes ago, I got home and saw the landlord had laid out some laminate flooring over part of the floor upstairs
Flatmate comes out raging that the landlord has left wood on the floor for her to trip over. I point out that it's been cut to size and fitted over the carpet so tomorrow at some point we'll have laminate flooring everywhere.

But I'll slip and fall over the cracks is her response. I show her the empty room that the landlord has finished and point out the beautiful finished flooring in there. Oh, but I might slip as it's slippery and I'll overbalance is her riposte. Perhaps you should lose some weight and not walk around in your fucking socks then dumbass.
