I do keep trying to talk him down to the pub on Friday evenings, with some intermittent success. Maybe after he gets back I'll try again. _{As long as nobody calls me 'Crowsephine.'}

Hmm...think on balance I preferred 'Crowsephine.'
I have managed to get him all the way down to South Wimbledon on a Wednesday, so it seems a shame that I've failed thus far to get him down to London Bridge on a Friday. Rest assured I shall keep trying.
