Drinking
is my most expensive vice. Drinking all of Friday & Saturday can easily approach £200.

Apart from that, my driving lessons are £108 a month, the theory test was £30 odd, fuck knows what the test will cost, and I don't even own a car yet. That is going to be one expensive motherfucker - the actual car, insurance for a young male, road tax, MOT's, maintenance, fuel oh jesus christ I'm going to be poor forever.

snap
i've been having theory classes for about 3 months (after having booked the course 4 months before that), so I only have five months left to complete the theory test, take enough practical lessons, and the exam.

And what do you base this libelous comment on?

(, Tue 15 Jun 2010, 12:24, Reply)
the same as I base all my comments on
flimsy evidence

Theory classes?
I just got a DVD and crammed in the week leading up to the test. Passed easily!
(, Tue 15 Jun 2010, 12:30, Reply)
i would do that
but I'm also studying in a different language

makes things a bit more difficult
(, Tue 15 Jun 2010, 12:39, Reply)
Ahhh
good luck with that then..

You drink on a Friday and Saturday what I earn in a week.

(, Tue 15 Jun 2010, 12:24, Reply)
I have to qualify
that I don't do anything like that anymore unless it's a very special occasion.

But last year I spent a ludicrous amount on drink, really really stupid. I'm not even well off! It was essentially my disposable income in it's entirity.

In fact these days I like to get shitfaced probably once a month at a cost of about £70.
(, Tue 15 Jun 2010, 12:28, Reply)
I used to spend £50-£70 on a night out
but £70 put into context at an average of £3 per drink that's 22 drinks and change left over for a kebab, just sounds plain dangerous to me.
(, Tue 15 Jun 2010, 12:32, Reply)
it does sound too much
I mean I'm a pretty heavy drinker, if on a proper lash I'll probably have eighteen drinks or so, perhaps more, but I'd spend max £35. Though that will generally include drinks had at pre-lash, which are mixed from my own bottles (still less expensive)

I can't confirm how much I drink
quite a lot of course, but I get the feeling I give out more drinks than I'm receiving back. Anyway I'm dealing with the health aspects but the money hurts just as much.
(, Tue 15 Jun 2010, 12:55, Reply)
that is why I have given up drinking large amounts
in favour of drinking small amounts and smoking loads of spliffs
