Morning weekenders
how are we all, those few of us that are unlucky enough to be awake and in front of a computer at this ungodly hour on a saturday morning? My wellbeing is only tempered by the fact that I ate brains last night. Actual sheeps brains, with chilli and garlic. I'm wondering when I start to rot and turn into a zombie.

I was intending on going out for a run but I've been hit by a massive dose of unmotivation and depression. Back to work on Monday after a week off, and work is a bad place to be these days. Could this be the week I finally hand in the notice?

There was a story on the BBC yesterday claiming that a federal court ruling in Germany had effectively legalised euthanasia
Deutsche Welle reported it as the legalisation of "passive assisted suicide" - whatever the hell that is.

It's neither of these things. The court simply said that an advance directive refusing life saving treatment is binding - a ruling that's only surprising inasmuch as that that wasn't clearly established before.
