Why bother?
I'm an advocate of, "If you can't say something nice, keep your trap shut and sabotage the brakes on their car."

^ this
no point making people upset. Take direct revenge

*removes springs from Amberl's mattress*
mwuahahahhaha
(, Tue 29 Jun 2010, 15:13, Reply)
And how do you have access to Amberl's bed?

(, Tue 29 Jun 2010, 15:14, Reply)
much better to remove the rug
from in front of her sofa
(, Tue 29 Jun 2010, 15:15, Reply)
how do you know that?!

(, Tue 29 Jun 2010, 15:18, Reply)
It's the look you've got in your eyes
I don't feel bad taking the piss out of people I've met. And Darth Foxtrot... he's such a dear.
(, Tue 29 Jun 2010, 15:23, Reply)
true true
I was actually just mildly suprised since I find beds uncomfortable and thus if I have a choice will rather sleep on a sofa, which I generally fall off
(, Tue 29 Jun 2010, 15:24, Reply)
OK that's a scary amount of detail to get right
I don't have a webcam on you, honest ¬_¬
(, Tue 29 Jun 2010, 15:28, Reply)
/scared now

(, Tue 29 Jun 2010, 15:29, Reply)
Don't worry
Nothing's making me turn away from Roota endlessly pissing into the pairs of shoes I send her
(, Tue 29 Jun 2010, 15:38, Reply)
on webcam at that

(, Tue 29 Jun 2010, 15:39, Reply)
I hope he's saving the footage
that's going to be very interesting to future generations
(, Tue 29 Jun 2010, 15:43, Reply)
I'm hoping it's going to let me
fasttrack her application to a mental institution
(, Tue 29 Jun 2010, 15:44, Reply)
Not Stratheaden tho, pleeeease

(, Tue 29 Jun 2010, 15:46, Reply)
But it's only a few miles away
from where we'll be living
(, Tue 29 Jun 2010, 15:50, Reply)
You wear me out you do

(, Tue 29 Jun 2010, 15:54, Reply)
Giggity
Can you tell b3ta about my six-pack and massive cock now as well?
(, Tue 29 Jun 2010, 15:57, Reply)
Six pack needs a little more work ;)

(, Tue 29 Jun 2010, 16:00, Reply)
That's it.
One at a time. No point confusing him.
(, Tue 29 Jun 2010, 16:09, Reply)
Hahahah!
:P
(, Tue 29 Jun 2010, 16:14, Reply)
Sorry, that can only be announced loudly in a back yard in Todmorden!

(, Tue 29 Jun 2010, 16:16, Reply)
wherever you're going
he's going as well, so he better pick somewhere nice.

After all pissing into shoes unendlessly is one thing, and filming it is something else
(, Tue 29 Jun 2010, 15:50, Reply)
Yeah!

(, Tue 29 Jun 2010, 15:53, Reply)
this is probably going to come across all wrong
but if you think beds are uncomfortable then you haven't tried the right mattress.

I've had mine for 4 years or so, and literally, almost every night I get in it and involuntarily exclaim how comfortable it is. it's amazing.
(, Tue 29 Jun 2010, 15:29, Reply)
I got used to sleeping
on a very hard bed. Now I don't like them at all. Sofa or the floor is much better. It's hard to convince guests that I really really don't mind them having the bed when they visit
(, Tue 29 Jun 2010, 15:31, Reply)
I can't help but feel you are missing out
I like a firm bed, which is why mine has twice the ordinary number of springs and a layer of memory foam.

it's incredible.
(, Tue 29 Jun 2010, 15:34, Reply)
I'm echoing
Roota's croissant comment.

What use does an insomniac have for a comfortable bed?
(, Tue 29 Jun 2010, 15:36, Reply)
this is an area in which I feel most strongly
so doesn't come under the heading of my normal smugness. It's (one of) my mission(s) to encourage people to get better beds.

it makes it even more important for an insomniac, because you are awake to enjoy it!
(, Tue 29 Jun 2010, 15:38, Reply)
do you mean?
you're one of those people who even though they can't sleep, enjoy just lying there and staring at the ceiling, or fidgeting or just feeling calm and warm and cozy? Madness!
(, Tue 29 Jun 2010, 15:42, Reply)
calm, warm and cozy is good
I've learnt not to get frustrated by not being able to get to sleep
(, Tue 29 Jun 2010, 15:44, Reply)
I'm not frustrated
just bored. Which is why the sofa is better. Easy access to computer, diet coke, work etc
(, Tue 29 Jun 2010, 15:49, Reply)
wasn't implying you were
my computer is in my bedroom which is where the mrs sleeps, so can't use that when being unable to sleep. don't have work to do at night either, so if I don't just enjoy lying in bed I'll either watch tv or smoke more spliffs, neither of which are what I want to be doing
(, Tue 29 Jun 2010, 15:51, Reply)
fair enough
I go for walks around Oxford, or do laundry and stuff
(, Tue 29 Jun 2010, 15:54, Reply)
being an insomniac is much easier when one is a student :-/
mine's mostly under control, but it's shit having to sit in the office all day after a bad night.
(, Tue 29 Jun 2010, 15:56, Reply)
Don't eat croissants in bed luv...

(, Tue 29 Jun 2010, 15:31, Reply)
Aw Amberl I totally love the sofa too!

(, Tue 29 Jun 2010, 15:30, Reply)
excellent!
You have good sense
(, Tue 29 Jun 2010, 15:36, Reply)
I'm a dear?
I'm going to take that as a compliment
(, Tue 29 Jun 2010, 15:34, Reply)
Nonsense. There's every point in making people upset.
It provides good Internet voyeurism and weeds out the weak.
(, Tue 29 Jun 2010, 15:13, Reply)
you have a point
impotent words pounded fiercely out on a sadly-abused keyboard are better than malicious and subtle revenge
