Nah, people don't mind that too muchThey try to say how it was a good genre, but I find every track I've ever heard boring.
That goes double for Pearl Jam and the Pixies I'm afraid.

can I recommend you try listening to Of the girl by Pearl Jam?I wouldn't call the album it is on grunge at all. give it a try.

the album is called Binauralused some interesting recording technique, and on the whole it's quite different to their other stuff.
