during the day - go to the west end, go to the kelvingrove museum, it's brilliant, especially now it's been renovated. I used to love the transport museum but it's gone a bit crap due to lack of care. The science centre is ace (especially if you're a bit pissed), and you get good views across the river from it.
The botanics will be nice at this time of year too.
The university is nice to amble around, and ashton lane is fun - it has a wee cinema, bar brel (which used to make the best mussels and chips, not sure if it still does). Beanscene, on cresswell lane (?) - opposite ashton lane anyway - is nice to lounge around in with the papers.
