Did you see the news item about the whale which breached onto a yacht
and broke the mast? Quite dramatic.

But what about the picture? Apparently some tourist had snapped a shot of the whale emerging from the water a fraction of a second before hitting the boat. Seems a bit unlikely to me.

Opinions please. Real or Photoshop? And if it's real, I think I'd be trying to cash in on a shot like that, not giving it to the tour guide!

Although it's well organised. The boat in the "aftermath" picture is unquestionably the boat in the original flying whale pic. I guess it's possible something else done the damage to the boat, or even it may have been that whale. Just the original pic seems a bit FISHY to me.

i live near the sea
but it's not so nice to swim in it unless you travel along the coast to a nice bit. I wish I could be in the sea more

(I got outrun by an 8 year old when I went bodyboarding) but I hear Gower is pretty awesome for it. Perhaps I am wasting opportunities

There are nice beaches up here too
but you've to be pretty brave/daft to swim in the North Sea, even in August.
