Depends what you like to watch really
I've got a few things queued up to watch currently. How I Met Your Mother & Lie To Me being the main 2.

I had The Wire queued up for months
waiting for Mark, and when finally put it on, I couldn't understand a single word. After 20 min of the first episode I had to give up.

In that case I'd avoid Bones, full of body parts and nonsense

I think House is just about my limit. I find it very difficult to follow when they're doing the differentials. I think I'm going to get it in Spanish.

I used sub-titles
purists may scoff but it removed a lot of ambiguity/confusion from the pretty intense plot.

Oh and the first 4 or so episodes I was very "meh" about, in fact I strongly disliked half the cast. But I perservered to the end of the first season, and it really was a cracking climax. OK so the first couple of episodes were boring, but it is a slow slow buildup which makes the ending so much more worthwhile.

From season 2 in every minute of every episode was a joy.

damn, that's how long I gave it, but I gave up.
I don't think you should have to waste 4 hours on a TV show for it to get good.

It really is worth it
I can quite honestly say that I'll never watch another show that comes close. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Besides series one was great also. I loved the first 3 episodes, you get to know the characters.

I gave it 5 episodes and then returned to season 6 of House
Hugh Laurie makes up for bad TV shows.

I'm in love with him. It's the way he's so mean and despite that, adorable. I don't know...

No, I think season 6 only just finished airing in America so it won't be for a while.
Season 6 of Weeds is available now though, that's a great show. I'd definitely recommend it, I think you'll enjoy it.

I love House, think it's superb
But I've never considered getting any of them beyond the first series. It's great fun, and I'll enjoy watching every episode if it's on, but I just don't want it enough.

Season 6 is just fantastic
It's a big change too. I loved how it started and how it ended. I'm looking forward to the next one.

but they do say it's worth watching with the subtitles on just to pick up on everything plus you learn cool new words like 'hoppers' and '5 o'

After all that nonsense on Friday I spent 4 hours in the Dental Hospital saw three different dentists and had 5 x rays to be told that my wisdom tooth is sat on the nerve and they cant take it out yet. Gimps.

well I have to go back and see another guy next week
apparently it's my choice though they just say I have a much higher chance of having temporary or permanent numbness in my lip. Which I don't really mind about really just want the tooth out now as I can't brush it properly. Who knows??

I got temporary numbness in half or my lower lip
it took ages to get it back (more than a year), and it still feels a bit weird sometime. I wouldn't recommend it.

You can as well lose the hability to control it, and it'll be hanging like if you were silly, but that usually goes after some time (months)
