But yes to scuba diving, that's on my list. You should make a list and we can compare the two, see if we can save money :D

I love scuba diving, haven't been in years, but I've been all over the world, got my PADI at 11.
My favorite place, which I presume is fucked now, was Cusimal in Mexico.

I have a family friend who sets up temporay ice rinks in the winter (all the major ones in the UK, does about 150 of them when I last spoke to him, most city centres)....
... and in the summer hires a boat and runs dive-schools in egypt/israel/where-ever he fancies that year.

I don't normally think to myself "He's got a whicked life, I'd love to do what he does", but he's one of them.

that's cool
there's a 5 day excursion available in Australia to do my PADI so I'm going to see if I can save up extra to include that. Seeing the Great Barrier Reef is on my must-see list for Aus anyway so it would be cool to get my qualification at the same time.
