Do you remember that thread about child b3tans
I saw this failblog.org/2010/07/26/epic-fail-photos-parenting-fail-31-6/#comments and I thought of Applebite and Kitty. What a great picture.

Now, let's don't do the same thread again, so you can keep in the one below and talk about hair colouring or you can tell me which one is your favourite crisps flavour and which one is missing.

Or, why do you want time to go faster? What are you looling forward to?

Where do you even get tiny fishnets?!

That woman has epic triangle boob going on as well.

I know
It's so embarrasing. I'm sure your mom was better.

of the Madeleine McCann debacle
my mum said "I was pretty negligent, but never quite that bad"
(, Tue 27 Jul 2010, 10:45, Reply)
Hahaha! Pretty good
She never gave you your pacifier with a bit of whisky on it?

My mum held me in front of a snarling dog when I was a toddler
because I was wearing a padded ski-suit and she thought it would take longer to chew through than her clothes

good parenting skills there

(, Tue 27 Jul 2010, 10:51, Reply)
Oh, my!
Really? That is so much parenting fail!

She maintains to this day that it makes sense
I said it proves she has no maternal instincts and she says "Well, no I don't really..."
She missed me when I moved to Sheffield though, and that is the truth.
(, Tue 27 Jul 2010, 10:54, Reply)
That is sweet
My mum always told us that she'd put us out of the house to live our lifes as soon as we were 18 and that she wouldn't want to know anymore about us. Now she can't stop asking me and my sister to come back home.

I have too many younger siblings
for this to be a worthwhile threat on my mother's part

I like steak flavoured McCoys crisps
and Chilli Doritos
(, Tue 27 Jul 2010, 10:48, Reply)
I had some of those steak McCoys for supper
I'm so old that I still call them Beef McCoys.
(, Tue 27 Jul 2010, 10:55, Reply)
I liked the brazilian flavour for the world cup
the bestes bests crisps are the kettle lightly salted.
(, Tue 27 Jul 2010, 10:56, Reply)
the seasalt and vinegar Kettle Chips are nicer

(, Tue 27 Jul 2010, 10:58, Reply)
I don't like vinegar on my chips
Why would I want vinegar on anything? Vinegar is wrong, specially if mixed with something as nice as chips.
(, Tue 27 Jul 2010, 11:01, Reply)
I almost agree with you
it baffles me why anyone would want to put ACID on their tasty potato based snacks, but I do actually like salt n vinegar McCoys. You have to eat them slowly though, or your mouth puckers up like a cat's arse from the sourness.
(, Tue 27 Jul 2010, 11:07, Reply)
It sounds delightful
I might not try them.
(, Tue 27 Jul 2010, 11:12, Reply)
Hmm
it doesn't really sound like a selling point, I have to admit, but they are very tasty.
(, Tue 27 Jul 2010, 11:23, Reply)
Salt n vinegar
or prawn cocktail. Ready salted but only if they're hulahoops or pringles. (picky much?)
And I'm looking forward to Sonisphere. Two days to go - wooooooo!

early bird?
I fly in tomorrow, turns out I don't get in until midnight. Not really worth getting a hotel for five hours worth
(, Tue 27 Jul 2010, 11:02, Reply)
Yeah, I got an early entry ticket
I presume you fly in to London and you're coming straight there? That's pretty hardcore...
(, Tue 27 Jul 2010, 11:04, Reply)
yeah fly in tomorrow at midnight
hang around a bit, head down to London, get the midday train and get to Knebworth.
(, Tue 27 Jul 2010, 11:06, Reply)
Dear god, woman
aren't you going to be knackered?
(, Tue 27 Jul 2010, 11:08, Reply)
Insomnia can be helpful
I'm sure I can grab an hour from Luton to London. The problem I'm having is finding decent shoes
(, Tue 27 Jul 2010, 11:10, Reply)
sure you don't want to stay with me?

(, Tue 27 Jul 2010, 11:13, Reply)
that's very kind :)
but I got the time wrong. I thought I was landing at midday. Turns out I'm landing at midnight, I'd feel a bit guilty for rousting you up. You around on the Monday/tuesday night though?
(, Tue 27 Jul 2010, 11:17, Reply)
of next week?
yes, I should be. We should DO SOMETHING.
(, Tue 27 Jul 2010, 11:36, Reply)
Wellies?
I have a spare pair if you're a 5-6. I'm taking my new rocks because they're warm, comfortable and completely impervious to mud and water.
(, Tue 27 Jul 2010, 11:15, Reply)
Cheers
I hear it might be a bit muddy. If I could borrow them that'd be fantastic (I'm flying in so only bringing bare essentials.)

I'm also looking very quickly for some boots with a small/medium heel that are quite sturdy. Might do some swift shopping in London before leaving
(, Tue 27 Jul 2010, 11:18, Reply)
You have to go in to London
to get from Luton to Knebworth? That's silly - I thought they were only a few miles apart! You might be able to find boots there, I guess, there's usually loads of stalls and stuff.
(, Tue 27 Jul 2010, 11:22, Reply)
last year
it took me over an hour to get from Luton to Stevenage on a bus.

Prefer not to buy there, ferociously expensive. Where you camping?
(, Tue 27 Jul 2010, 11:24, Reply)
In the bog standard
camping bit, I assume. Ideally not a 45 minute trek from the arena...
I would offer to pick you up from Luton, but I doubt we'll hit it until about 2pm or later, which would be an incredibly boring amount of time to wait. But the offer is there if you want?
