Naaaaaaaah mate
White chocolate is the tits
(, Wed 28 Jul 2010, 8:48, Reply)
agreed
I'm still annoyed I've lost no weight this holiday, despite no snacks (the occasional crisps excepted) small meals, and huge amounts (for me) of exercise

Don't give up,
can be a slow start but weight loss speeds up eventually.
(, Wed 28 Jul 2010, 9:10, Reply)
this is true
after a while it becomes habit.

Also, not drinking so much booze is the best way to lose weight if nothing else is working.

^^This
Despite a recent relapse, I found cutting out the evening cider helped me drop a lot of weight (and save some cash).
(, Wed 28 Jul 2010, 9:46, Reply)
I haven't had a drink in almost three months
and I fully support this notion.
(, Wed 28 Jul 2010, 9:51, Reply)
I enjoy a few beers or wine on occasion
but cutting out the major intake has helped me lose a couple of stone.
(, Wed 28 Jul 2010, 9:53, Reply)
I need to get back on track
Not done the pushups in a while, and had a couple of shit weeks, so had a drink most weeknights. *ashamed*
(, Wed 28 Jul 2010, 9:55, Reply)
Unfortunately my recent findings corroborate this
I've realised that if I cut out beer altogether I'd have reached my ideal weight and waist measurement by now. However, I prefer to extend my stay in fatsville and run further, faster and more often to work off my continued beer intake.

I like beer.
(, Wed 28 Jul 2010, 9:57, Reply)
that's fair enough
everything in moderation, including moderation.

My beer intake has reduced mainly because I've got a 3 pint limit if I want to then have a spliff.

Of course, the absolutely best, most effective way of losing weight
is to develop a serious class-A habit. No-one's hungry when they're pilling their tits off.

OK... best ridiculously unhealthy

Not drinking so much?
What a shocking suggestion!

On a serious note though, my calorie consumption has probably been under a thousand a day for five weeks, with walks totalling two miles each day up hill/down hill and then an hours worth of swimming. Something should have changed

Edit: I have drunk quite a lot of wine, but only three times a week or so, and generally on days I haven't eaten much
(, Wed 28 Jul 2010, 10:07, Reply)
you might find that you have kick started it
and that once you return to home and if you carry on controlling things that you will lose weight
(, Wed 28 Jul 2010, 10:21, Reply)
but five weeks worth
should be enough. I wonder if there is something wrong
(, Wed 28 Jul 2010, 10:30, Reply)
Eating shit and not doing enough exercise for x amount of years
can't just be turned around within 5 weeks.
(, Wed 28 Jul 2010, 10:32, Reply)
^this
it took me a couple of months at least of going to the gym and working pretty hard 2-3 times a week, as well as surfing and not drinking and eating better to even begin to lose weight.

Now it seems to go away no matter what.
(, Wed 28 Jul 2010, 10:37, Reply)
I'd agree Pyschochomp
if that was true. But I eat fairly healthily and have been to the gym a lot in the past three months. I'm not saying I should be instantly slim. But five weeks should mean at least a few pounds dropped

^this with raspeberries^
I have been rteally good recently following my diet plan and gyming it 3 times a week and last night was my first lapse. Settled down for a bit of borderlands action and had myself a little bag of gummi bears. Naughty andy!
