I'm surprisingly picky when it comes to getting up and shaking my groove thing
but as we've established you can't go wrong with Pendulum

Also (depending on where I am, obv)

VNV Nation - Chrome
Hollywood Undead - Everywhere I Go
Hadouken! - Mic Check
Paramore - Emergency

and for a reminder of a time when I had enough hair to blind a man at three feet...

Machine Head - Davidian

Machine Head are awful

I disagree
The first two and last two records are great, and I've seen them play live twice now and they were brilliant both times.

I'm not into screamy/shouty metal really
it's only recently that I remembered that I really like Slayer.

I saw them last year, and thought they were dreadful. Tossers as well.

Tossers they are
and I haven't been particularly into anything they've done since The Burning Red, apart from Imperium. But Davidian is a fucking mental tune
(, Wed 28 Jul 2010, 14:05, Reply)
I bought the Burning Red when it came out
because I liked a couple of tunes. I listened to it before Sonisphere last year, and it was absolutely fucking awful. Some of the guitar stuff is ok, but for the most part it was dross.
(, Wed 28 Jul 2010, 14:07, Reply)
Loved it at the time
Hasn't aged well. No getting around that.
(, Wed 28 Jul 2010, 14:11, Reply)
Nope, it hasn't
Burn My Eyes and The Blackening are amazing though.
(, Wed 28 Jul 2010, 14:15, Reply)
Burn My Eyes is the only good album I think
The others all contain some cracking tracks, but then some poor tracks.
e.g. The More Things Change. Ten Ton Hammer - Great. Blistering - Poor.

Can't argue with that
WHAT'S BECOME OF ME
(, Wed 28 Jul 2010, 14:19, Reply)
Chrome's good
But I prefer Momentum or some of the tracks off Futureperfect.
(, Wed 28 Jul 2010, 13:59, Reply)
Legion's my favourite VNV track
followed by Epicentre, but Chrome's fucking top-notch to move to

you know, I met a man at the beach that said he was a dancer, he could teach me how to ballroom dance, and he'll dance all night in a club
but he meant disco all night in a club
we didn't disco dance...but he definitely had rhythm

Paramore?
Get out.
(, Wed 28 Jul 2010, 14:02, Reply)
Shan't
Paramore are awesome
(, Wed 28 Jul 2010, 14:04, Reply)

"All I Wanted" and "Misguided Ghosts" are two of my fave songs
(, Wed 28 Jul 2010, 14:06, Reply)

awesome shite
(, Wed 28 Jul 2010, 14:07, Reply)
Go back to yer Blazin' Squad records, junior

(, Wed 28 Jul 2010, 14:12, Reply)
Blazin' Squad? Clearly you can't judge another man's taste, on the fact you think MSI is music

(, Wed 28 Jul 2010, 14:14, Reply)
Don't you kids listen to Blazin Squad?
MSI are awesome. If you say otherwise then you are an odd little man
(, Wed 28 Jul 2010, 14:21, Reply)
MSI are wank. And no, I never listened to Blazin' Squad
When they were around, my choice of music was SOAD, Chimaira, etc
(, Wed 28 Jul 2010, 14:58, Reply)
Shit it, I'm going to have to agree with you.
Sad times.
