A bag full of wild plums and I'm going back to where I found them again this weekend for a load more. Most of the blackberries around here are a bit naff though.
Alt answer: A huge cookery book as a birthday present for a friend. She claims to finally understand why her "swing like a lumberjack" approach to dicing vegetables makes my mind boggle now.

Look, it was a just one-night stand, OK?
Keep your hands off my 'bag full of wild plums' in future.

8 minutes between a post mentioning plums and a response. I expect better than this from you.

fixed menu. Limited number of people (I think we could seat 20 in our flat) promoted by word of mouth. Try it as a one-off evening & then maybe hold one once a month if it went well.

I do like Laphroaig, but I've I could only have one malt for the rest of my life I'd go for the 15-year old Bowmore.

I'll enjoy a cognac though. Or a good quality vodka if that sort of thing isn't frowned upon.

XO Hennessy is my all-time favourite drink.
It's £100 a bottle though, so I only buy it every fourth bottle.
I've also had £12-a-shot rum and (honestly this exists) gourmet sipping tequila and was amazed how nice both of them were. I've had expensive vodkas but cannot get excited about it as a drink.

I like the taste of vodka, simple as that
I've had a lovely thai whisky that was more like drinking chilled brandy. but nicer than that sounds.
