The Tom Cruise WOTW was utter tripeThe old TV series wasn't much better either. Not a patch on the UK series Tripods. That used to have me hiding behind the sofa as a kid

It started off really well I thought,the storm at the beginning really set me on edge, but then it was just boring. Dakota Fanning was really good though.
