I watched that the other day and I really enjoyed it
I laughed so hard when he said "of course you can't see, I just shot you in the eye with a fucking blank"
(, Thu 9 Sep 2010, 10:10, 2 replies, latest was 16 years ago)
I love the bit when he is arguing with the people in the restaurant
the woman picks up a bottle and he goes "A bottle?" and punches her
(, Thu 9 Sep 2010, 10:11, Reply)
I loved that bit.
And when he goes "one gay beer for my gay friend and one normal beer for me because I am normal".
(, Thu 9 Sep 2010, 10:16, Reply)
Colin Farrel was brilliant, I cant stand the bloke as a rule
but he played it so understated
(, Thu 9 Sep 2010, 10:12, Reply)
I thought he did the tormented bit really well
I also thought he was quite good in Phone Booth
(, Thu 9 Sep 2010, 10:16, Reply)
god no
that film was horse shit of the highest order
(, Thu 9 Sep 2010, 10:17, Reply)
I really liked it
I love Kiefer Sutherland's voice. Fit.
(, Thu 9 Sep 2010, 10:20, Reply)
Kiefer Sutherland would make a Natwest advert epic
but the film in general was so dull. I paid to watch it in the cinema. I was ashamed.
(, Thu 9 Sep 2010, 10:21, Reply)
Don't listen to Bobby
It's a great film. I need to watch it again.
(, Thu 9 Sep 2010, 10:21, Reply)
To be honest not listening to me might be sound advice
my favourite movie of all time is Labyrinth, starring David Bowie. *looks out for Monty*

edit - good hols btw?
(, Thu 9 Sep 2010, 10:23, Reply)
Yeah had a great time thanks!
After two hours back at work, I feel utterly un-relaxed.
(, Thu 9 Sep 2010, 10:25, Reply)
par for the course
start planning the next one.
(, Thu 9 Sep 2010, 10:27, Reply)
He's planning how to deliver his excuse to get out of the next one

(, Thu 9 Sep 2010, 10:33, Reply)
where are we going on our honeymoon?

(, Thu 9 Sep 2010, 10:34, Reply)
VEGAS BABY!

(, Thu 9 Sep 2010, 10:36, Reply)

PLaying cards at the Mirage then fucking in the desert.
(, Thu 9 Sep 2010, 10:47, Reply)
Then you can kill her, and have Nick Stokes find her

(, Thu 9 Sep 2010, 10:51, Reply)
I couldn't kill her
she is a sweet sweet angel
(, Thu 9 Sep 2010, 10:59, Reply)
I agree, I think that film is superb
Kiefer Sutherland is damn good in it too, very intimidating.
(, Thu 9 Sep 2010, 10:18, Reply)
I have just ordered it off play.

(, Thu 9 Sep 2010, 10:16, Reply)
Nice one
I saw it on TV a couple of weeks back and ordered it off Amazon the next day. I hadn't bought a DVD in years.
(, Thu 9 Sep 2010, 10:19, Reply)
I bought it for £3 in Sainsbury's and the next sodding day it came on TV.

(, Thu 9 Sep 2010, 10:20, Reply)
It is actually my first blu ray
feels quite cool. I bought a huge fecking telly last week so needed a blu ray player. So got one.
(, Thu 9 Sep 2010, 10:20, Reply)
From what I've heard, one film that needs seeing in Blu Ray is Saving Private Ryan
The opening scene is meant to be stunning

That of course doesn't make the film any less overrated
(, Thu 9 Sep 2010, 10:22, Reply)
When that first came out I hated it
Watched it on channel 5 a few months ago and was weeping like a little girl with a skinned knee. I will buy that too.
(, Thu 9 Sep 2010, 10:26, Reply)
AA is right on this one
Saving Private Ryan is shit and overrated
(, Thu 9 Sep 2010, 10:29, Reply)
I thought so too on my first watch but 2nd time through brilliant.

(, Thu 9 Sep 2010, 10:34, Reply)
Seen it twice
load of wank. And what's with all the Americans?
(, Thu 9 Sep 2010, 10:37, Reply)
they won the war don't you know.
single handedly
(, Thu 9 Sep 2010, 10:47, Reply)
Don't you think big tvs are a waste?
My brother bought this 50" plasma and it's jsut too big
(, Thu 9 Sep 2010, 10:22, Reply)
Not if you sit further away...

(, Thu 9 Sep 2010, 10:24, Reply)
Depends on the size of the room
mine is 32 but it's perfect for the room. My mate has a 50 incher (ooer) and it looks great in his house but his house is huge.
(, Thu 9 Sep 2010, 10:25, Reply)
House is relatively big
and it gets used for films, but apart from that it's not much better than a small one
(, Thu 9 Sep 2010, 10:28, Reply)
Can I get that in laminated form?

(, Thu 9 Sep 2010, 10:33, Reply)
If you get Sky HD, it's superb to watch sports and documentaries on
Otherwise, yes, a bit of a waste used only as a TV
(, Thu 9 Sep 2010, 10:25, Reply)
mainly for gaming
I;m ashamed to say
(, Thu 9 Sep 2010, 10:26, Reply)
No shame in that at all
That's what I meant when I said only as a TV. My friend plays games like HL2 on top resolution on his 30-odd inch TV, just looks incredible.

What console you rocking?
(, Thu 9 Sep 2010, 10:27, Reply)
I only use my 32" tv for games and films
I never watch tv (and the aerial on the roof is shit anyway).
(, Thu 9 Sep 2010, 10:31, Reply)

I go to sleep with Viva on every night now, fall asleep to 2.5 men or south park and wake up to gash chart music. Can't go wrong.
(, Thu 9 Sep 2010, 10:33, Reply)
brand new xbox 360
as mine died the other week. I have basically upgraded everything. Currently rocking ME2 with new dlc and borderlands online. Getting moist about Halo Reach on Tuesday.
(, Thu 9 Sep 2010, 10:32, Reply)
I'm gutted
I can't afford Halo Reach for at least another 2 months, it's going to kill me.
(, Thu 9 Sep 2010, 10:36, Reply)
I never really played the others
Borderlands has opened my eyes to FPS' so HAlo reach looks like the next logical step.

I have landed a really flukey summer job and my commission is epic. I sit here all day make a few calls and take home about 300 quid a week. I'm a fucking student I feel like Branson.
(, Thu 9 Sep 2010, 10:40, Reply)
Git
Have you ever played Postal 2?
(, Thu 9 Sep 2010, 10:52, Reply)
Eh, not a fan of Halo games
Fallout: New Vegas in October though... oh YES!
(, Thu 9 Sep 2010, 10:40, Reply)
OMG yes
I had a little run through on 3 t'other day in anticipation. Cannot wait for Vegas.
(, Thu 9 Sep 2010, 10:45, Reply)
I found it a bit too buggy
And I didn't like the fact that while it claims to be non-linear, you still have to do things in a very specific order. I ended up on the ship before I was meant to, and ended up running round clueless for about an hour, getting more and more annoyed.
(, Thu 9 Sep 2010, 10:52, Reply)
the main story had to be done in whack but the beauty was you could avoid it and just go wandering
the wasteland levelling up doing side missions.
(, Thu 9 Sep 2010, 10:59, Reply)
I normally don't like him
But he is perfect in In Bruges.
(, Thu 9 Sep 2010, 10:21, Reply)
I normally don't like you
Today is no exception
