Jeff wants a lunchtime thread so here it is.
What are you having for lunch?

Alt q: what is the Pope having for lunch?
(, Thu 16 Sep 2010, 12:26, 59 replies, latest was 15 years ago)
Don't know yet.
I'm loitering round an empty house, killing time on my soon-to-be-former housemate's laptop. I will have to wander into town and see what I can lay my grubby hands on...

Alt A: ...which is probably what the Pope said when asked what he wanted for lunch.
(, Thu 16 Sep 2010, 12:28, Reply)
Are you planning on killing your flatmate?
You sound a bit sinister.
(, Thu 16 Sep 2010, 12:30, Reply)
Hadn't planned to
Would you like me to?
(, Thu 16 Sep 2010, 12:30, Reply)
Yeah, why not.
It'll give us something to talk about later.
(, Thu 16 Sep 2010, 12:35, Reply)
Plus I'd get to keep his laptop.
BACK OF THE NET.

(, Thu 16 Sep 2010, 12:42, Reply)
A cup of tea, an orange
and a sausage

Alt Q: judging by the press a mixture of underage santorum and communion wine
(, Thu 16 Sep 2010, 12:28, Reply)
Getting the santorum phrase in to popularity = brilliant work by Dan Savage

(, Thu 16 Sep 2010, 12:31, Reply)
neater than having to type it all out
better for keeping lunch down as well
(, Thu 16 Sep 2010, 12:33, Reply)
Fried Chicken
Gotta love Mississipi Fried Chicken
(, Thu 16 Sep 2010, 12:29, Reply)

(, Thu 16 Sep 2010, 12:42, Reply)
Got drunk last night
Diet is out the window till after I get back from Belgium. I'm off the sauce after that weekend too.
(, Thu 16 Sep 2010, 12:47, Reply)
good boy you are my inspiration at lunch to put down the crap!
today I am having a spliff and a muller light with a little top gear.
(, Thu 16 Sep 2010, 12:48, Reply)
I'm disappointed about
sinning, 'cause I have to start the whole thing again. Boring wholemeal bread and urrrrrrrrrrgh next week.
(, Thu 16 Sep 2010, 12:52, Reply)
I find convincing myself I don't like things that I really like, such as pizza, etc
puts me off all food. I am living on yoghurt and marijuana.
(, Thu 16 Sep 2010, 12:56, Reply)
I wouldn't want to clean your toilet
The thing I miss the most is fruit!
(, Thu 16 Sep 2010, 12:57, Reply)
cause of the sugar?

(, Thu 16 Sep 2010, 12:58, Reply)
Yeah
I really like fruit.

Also, not drinking beer and eating pizza and chips and stuff is pretty hard.
(, Thu 16 Sep 2010, 13:02, Reply)
Yeah but it's a better kind of hard than not being able to walk up stairs hard
which I never want to get to.

I fully intend to look like Dolph Lundgren by my birthday.
(, Thu 16 Sep 2010, 13:04, Reply)
Drug addled and Swedish?
We need before and after shots please.

(, Thu 16 Sep 2010, 13:09, Reply)
Ok I'll put some more pics on my profile.
I only have two of my head on there at mo.
(, Thu 16 Sep 2010, 13:16, Reply)
if it makes you feel better
I just failed. I had parma ham instead of a sausage which was fine, but then as well as an orange I had some pringles.
(, Thu 16 Sep 2010, 12:59, Reply)
FOR SHAME.
Potato-effect snacks?

are you enormously comically fat?
(, Thu 16 Sep 2010, 13:10, Reply)
Not really
I could count my ribs yesterday.
(, Thu 16 Sep 2010, 13:11, Reply)
Get some cassava based crisp substitutes
The Kings ones are alright, Hale & Hearty are much better.

So much less fattening than regular crisps and low in starch.
(, Thu 16 Sep 2010, 13:27, Reply)
No you fucking aren't, old bean.

(, Thu 16 Sep 2010, 12:53, Reply)

(, Thu 16 Sep 2010, 12:30, Reply)
I accidently had a tub of marks'n'sparks chicken wings.
I started eating them a few hours ago, I had the first one when I came across the first bit of code that didn't come out 100% right the first time, then the second piece when it happened again. I have now finished the bucket, following this example.
(, Thu 16 Sep 2010, 12:36, Reply)
nom nom
but so bad. I miss chicken wings.
(, Thu 16 Sep 2010, 12:56, Reply)

Alt: a 'dick sandwich'
I'm having peppered roast beef, tomato and dark French moutarde in a granary baguette. Not exactly award-winning but not Dairylea Triangles and a mint Viscount either.
(, Thu 16 Sep 2010, 12:40, Reply)
Mint Viscounts were lovely
I've not had one for years.

Didn't they also do an orange one?
(, Thu 16 Sep 2010, 12:41, Reply)
Ask TGB - she eats LIKE A FUCKING 5-YEAR OLD.

(, Thu 16 Sep 2010, 13:02, Reply)
Are these just the bog standard pink wafer?
I thought Pink Panther wafers were more 'cake like'?

I failed.
(, Thu 16 Sep 2010, 12:47, Reply)
Sorry.
But I've clicked 'I like this!' to this thread.

It was a complete accident and I don't 'like' this thread at all.

As you were.
(, Thu 16 Sep 2010, 12:57, Reply)
Crap I forgot about breakfast
And now I forgot it was lunch time.
I hate application forms
worst of all the formyfoms
(, Thu 16 Sep 2010, 12:59, Reply)
You forgot about brekkie and lunch because you are massively
excited about the Pope.

That's what I reckon.
(, Thu 16 Sep 2010, 13:01, Reply)
I am dining on the body and blood of Christ...
...which would appear to non-believers in the form of a bowl of gumbo and an Irn-Bru.
The Pope is having aborted foetus on toast (from Pret-a-Manger.)
