I can honestly understand the appeal as it could be a good night if you aren't a cynical twat like me.
But it was excruciatingly dull. You would have the same conversation three times in a row then meet someone trying to be wacky or different and I hated it. It wasn't uncomfortable just too weird for me.

i met 23 shut-in IT workers called steve and an accountant called dave. it didn't matter that i was too drunk to tell them apart after the first 5 because they were all the same anyway.

on the plus side, between the guys i met and my friends' experiences, i have some great truly dreadful material for my oxford masters piece next year, "these events are based on fiction" my arse.
