Have you ever done the pizza hut challenge Labs?

(, Wed 29 Sep 2010, 10:20, 2 replies, latest was 15 years ago)
What's that?
Some friends and I went in at 12pm, and came out when the buffet finished at 4pm once, many years ago (when I still had a metabolism).

Lunch time buffet challenge, most slices in 30 minutes. I thought
I had done well with 18 until that was smashed by a colleague who did 25.

I had to sit at my desk with my trousers undone for the afternoon.

Jesus wept
I very much doubt I could do that.
(, Wed 29 Sep 2010, 10:26, Reply)
once is enough
It will put you off pizza for a while.
(, Wed 29 Sep 2010, 10:27, Reply)
If it was anything but pepperoni, I could give it a good go
But I have one slice of that stuff, and I'm full
(, Wed 29 Sep 2010, 10:29, Reply)
Pepperoni is the best pizza ever.
There is a place in Bris called Pizza King that does a pepperoni pizza on naan bread base. It's epic.

error
Dominoes Meteor is the greatest pizza ever.

Closely followed by one with anchovies, olives, capers, and parma ham
(, Wed 29 Sep 2010, 10:37, Reply)
Anything that Dominoes produce cannot be classed as pizza
It's shit, I thought you were a man of taste Vipros.
(, Wed 29 Sep 2010, 10:38, Reply)
I'm not a huge fan of a BBQ base on pizzas
But I do like the Meateor.
(, Wed 29 Sep 2010, 10:39, Reply)
it is mighty.
the homemade pizzas I made the other day were pretty awesome although they were the saltiest anchovies ever.
(, Wed 29 Sep 2010, 10:41, Reply)
Reminds me I need to get more chili anchovies

(, Wed 29 Sep 2010, 10:44, Reply)
they sound good

(, Wed 29 Sep 2010, 10:46, Reply)
Get some next time you do a food shop

(, Wed 29 Sep 2010, 10:47, Reply)
I've only ever had anchovies once
They were on a fish pizza, which was vile. I'll try them again at some point though.
(, Wed 29 Sep 2010, 10:54, Reply)
No chance
The best pizza is done by a place near me, called Cheshire Fast Food. 16" of cheese, tomato, pepperoni, salami, ham, chicken tikka and mincemeat. It is godly, and you can get that, a cheesey garlic bread and a bottle of Coke for £12.50.
(, Wed 29 Sep 2010, 10:53, Reply)
I haven't had takeaway
since attempting a Snappy's beast with my stepbro. I felt awful afterwards.
(, Wed 29 Sep 2010, 10:35, Reply)
I fucking love Snappys
South of the Border without green peppers (so pepperoni, spicy beef, cajun chicken and jalapenos). NOM.
(, Wed 29 Sep 2010, 10:37, Reply)
Which buffet did you go to?
I miss the Blue Ripple.
(, Wed 29 Sep 2010, 10:38, Reply)

(, Wed 29 Sep 2010, 10:38, Reply)
A local chain pizza place
Snappy Tomato.

Jimmy Spice's
A new one in town, just under the cinema. Wide range of food (english, italian, indian, mexican, chinese, thai), plus they'll do you fresh stir frys and naan upon request.
(, Wed 29 Sep 2010, 10:40, Reply)
That sounds rather tasty

(, Wed 29 Sep 2010, 10:55, Reply)
it's all bland and mediocre though

(, Wed 29 Sep 2010, 11:45, Reply)
I can't stand jalapenos
They taste vile
(, Wed 29 Sep 2010, 10:54, Reply)
What's the challenge?
Not getting food poisoning?
(, Wed 29 Sep 2010, 10:23, Reply)
The challenge is to not be an abrasive smart arse for 30 -45 minutes.
