I like bats.
My dad once accidently killed one after stepping on it in the dark and kicking it as he thought it was a shoe.

I buried it under a tree with a stone, on which was written in marker "Roost in Peace".

I live right on the edge of town
So there are loads of bats just now. I know they won't, but I'm always scared they're going to fly into my face, especially if I'm on my bike.
