Nor does McDonalds. They're the only two fast foods that I find can't be acceptably reheated.

Most food tastes better cold the next day

as it cools all the flavours intensify. Cold lasagne makes hot lasagne taste like shit.

BP:Right. That's the roast done.
Guest: Brilliant! I'm starving
BP: Hold your horses, I've not put it in the fridge for 6 hours yet!
Guest: Eh? But the roasties and the gravy will all cold and horrible.
BP: Trust me, I'm in no way a mentalist stoner who doesn't get the concept of nice food
Guest: I'm going to the pub.

One - people don't come to my house! cause I have no friends.
Two - I can't cook, especially not a roast.
Three - well I don't need a three as one and two were so great. (R Mayall)

They are rubbish, time consuming, and not refreshing. People on a hot day saying have a cup of tea baffles me. I also sleep with my windows open in winter and wear shorts all year round. Maybe I hate heat?

You're making me feel bad just reading it!
I'm always cold, although when it's very, very hot out there (above 34degC) I feel hot. Then I love a nice cup of iced tea. Mmmmm

especially the boozy version. I am trying to think of any hot drinks I like. And the only one is a hot bovril. But not had that for years either.

depending on what it is, but I wouldn't say it's better by a long shot. Some things are acceptable cold, such as pasta, but if you had a cold steak and kidney pie it would be all congealed and minging.

If you ever watch Some Like It Hot on a bank holiday and the phone rings, don't answer it. I did and it was to tell me that my Dad had died.
Now if it's on and the phone rings, I automatically say "Bloody hell who's died now?" before answering.
Your Dad will thank me for this advice.

On a similar note, don't watch Westside Story late at night when you're waiting for someone to come home.
Nobody is dead, but you'll think they are.
It's ok, they're safe, they're just cheating on you.

and when I rung him to come and take me to the hospital he left the other woman in my flat. I feel your pain.

"They're here. [The girl who my ex was knocking off] missed her train back to Manchester, and they couldn't exactly go to your house, so I've let them sleep here but only because I wouldn't leave a girl on the street at this hour. I'm on your side and furious though."
Grrrreat!
