What costume did you want to do?

(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 16:10, 1 reply, 15 years ago)
I was going to be Mystique from X Men
wobbly bits and a blue bodysuit mixeth not.

That Rebecca Romijn is hot though

(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 16:15, Reply)
Yes.
Something else she and I do not have in common.
(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 16:18, Reply)
That sounds awesome.
May have to steal this for future use.
(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 16:17, Reply)
I suspect you will look better in a skintight
bodysuit than I would!
(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 16:18, Reply)
self-deprecation not allowed
you've worked hard :) be proud of it
(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 16:23, Reply)
I am proud!
but it is simple statement of fact, I've had a look at the flickr pool...
(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 16:24, Reply)
you should go as Mystique

(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 16:27, Reply)
could always go as the Mystique from the comics
who also wore a white dress thing
(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 16:31, Reply)
Yep, like a flowing, Kylie-Minogue-in-that-video, white thing

(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 16:32, Reply)
I need to be invited to a decent party to make it worthwhile!

(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 16:39, Reply)
one of my friends was planning to dress as Mystique for my halloween party last year
she has the body to pull it off as well. it's a shame she chickened out.
(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 16:25, Reply)
Is that the friend you showed me?
The goth-y one?
(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 16:29, Reply)
no, this other one is on a par though
6' tall, blonde, triathlete.
(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 16:30, Reply)
I approve

(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 16:32, Reply)
you would do

(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 16:34, Reply)
Yeah, see I could probably do it
but I suspect I wouldn't look half as good as I think I would. It's best for all concerned if I postpone it, not least til I get an invite to a decent Hallowe'en party. I quite like the idea of going as Silk Spectre (I or II) from Watchmen, though.
(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 16:29, Reply)
it's always hard to think of costumes
especially since I can never be bothered to put effort into making them
(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 16:31, Reply)
Aw, I love making costumes
but then, I don't have much opportunity to make stuff so it's always fun when I do get to.
(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 16:38, Reply)
any suggestions for a Disney themed costume?
You know vaguely what I look like
(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 16:41, Reply)
Pete's dragon

I think you'd make a good Alice
but it's quite a popular costume. I went as the cheshire cat last year, that was fun.

You could go as any of the blonde Disney princesses, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella.
(, Wed 6 Oct 2010, 17:16, Reply)
^ this
I think Alice would definitely be the easiest for you. It's not much hassle to put together, either.
