It's not even a colour, it's a pattern consisting of several colours. How's that for extra pedantry?
I don't know about clever names for cupcakes, just call one of them "Fatty Fatty Two-by-Four, can't fit through the kitchen door".

The problem with that is that the colour dissolves off those things really quickly
so if I put it in the mix it would end up as a creepy white ball that looked a bit like ibuprofen.

I found a recipe where you sprinkle poprocks on the frosting at the end
which amused me, but unfortunately they've only got a shelf life of about half an hour before the poprocks just dissolve into the frosting.
