Yes, die is to indicate death
Dye is when you colour your clothes/hair

I just try and hide in the grass like a rabbit
and then suddenly BOOM HEADSHOT! every sodding time. I didn't find out for ages that you had a radar to tell you where everyone else is on the screen so I was just sitting there whilst everyone aimed at me.
