i've taken to buying
packs of poppadums to have with my houmous (jalapeno houmous ftw) as they are much lower calorie and fat than crisps. the only thing is, every other bugger seems to have caught onto it, all 4 of the tesco locals near my flat/work have permanently sold out!

BUT i highly approve of your flavour choice. good work.

How much lower in fat are poppadums?

(, Sat 16 Oct 2010, 18:41, Reply)
They're not, they're fried too.
Such a manly question.

That's what I thought.

i'm not saying they're a health food exactly
but they are a lot healthier than ordinary crisps!

Get some of those Rivita things or whatever it is they're called.

Deep-fried whole-grain.

yeah
but that doesn't solve the craving for dirty crisps!

monster munch, for example. *Drools*

well
we've never been spotted in the same room at the same time, so.

They did 'flaiming hot' watsits at the shop across the road from me.
I loved them so much, I could make my way through 6 packets without even trying or thinking, they seriously are the nicest fried/baked corn snack that I've ever had.

They don't sale them anywhere any more.

I'd pay good money for a box of those.

i don't know in a restaurant
but the tesco ones are about 35 calories each. 3 would be equivalent to about half a giant bag of doritos, which is all too easily consumed!
