Dangit, you broke my ^this....On my end, the "girls can talk themselves into anything".
From my experience, they seem to be able to do the opposite just as easily.

most of my girlfriendsdidn't really like their now husbands that much on the first couple of dates, but talked themselves into putting up with it. then i have male friends who have dumped lovely girls for the most stupid of reasons (er, not that they EVER thought of telling the girls those reasons of course)
