Do you not end up having a big meal in the evening anyway? I always do.

Usually
But I'm going out this evening (football and pub), so there won't be time to cook a big evening meal.

I will however have a pie and a bovril at half time.

Pies FTW. Everyone needs pie in their life.

I keep getting tempted by the Pieminister website

Must... Resist... One of everything please.

I really want that because I love moos
but I hate blue cheese. It's anti-nom.

I thought so too and I still wouldn't eat it cold
but in cooking it's really nice. I've been doing a turkey roulade with it, and also melting it on pork steaks.

Urban Pie in Birmingham
is nearly as good, and not nearly as far for you to travel (if I recall correctly you live much nearer there than Bristol...)

Might pick one up on the way to the bash!
