European politicians rarely talk openly about religion.
But christian conservatism is very common in Europe. Europe's largest political group was known as the Christian Democrats for years.

But aren't they far left liberal socialist communists in the minds of our
evangelicals? I've never seen anything on the avaialble news of Europe about evngelicals in power like they are here. Just about any national politician now has to prove he/she is a member of a christian church to even get nominated. More and more, if you're not evngelical and "born again". you can't get elected.
